RIGHI GROUP AWARDED BY CONFINDUSTRIA AT “EXCELSA 2021”

On 28th September we attended the 2021 edition of Excelsa at MarePineta Resort in Milano Marittima. Excelsa is a biennial award which was born 10 years ago from Confindustria. The aim of Excelsa is to emphasise excellent company of the Romagna Area.

For 2021, Confindustria created a new and different event, to reward 2 different categories: the economic performance in 2020, year signed by the global pandemic and the sustainability activities made by the companies in the past 2 years.

We are honored and proud that we received the award for both categories. We are committed to do even more and better for future years.

For the economic part, our company received the award for the excellent performance recorded during the pandemic period in 2020. The annual turnover increased of 19%. “Thanks to the strong and commitment demonstrated from the management and the team of about 200 people, Righi went ahead and achieved excellent result, over any expectation.” Said Mr. Mauro Righi, CEO of Righi Group.

Sustainability is not a new word for Righi. Our company is active from different years on two pillars: environment and social.

During the award ceremony, the attention focused on the new competence center. The innovative building of 800 square meters finished during the pandemic and inaugurated in September 2020. The new building was realized in eco-sustainable perspective and new technology for the use and production of electrical energy from renewable sources that make it self-sufficient for about 80% of electricity consumption.
