RIGHI ELETTROSERVIZI, SUPPLIER FOR THE REVAMPING OF THE WASTE TO ENERGY PLANT OF TRIESTE
Righi Elettroservizi won, with the company Europower, the call for tender by one of the italian multi-utility leader company in the environmental, hydric and energy field.
The subject of the supply is the revamping of the line 2 of the waste to energy plant of Trieste.
Righi was responsible of the development of the construction project with the usage of BIM technology, edit of the existing tools to restore, supply and installation of new tools, develop of the DCS software system (ABB Freelance/S800). The company, has also took care of the commissioning, training, start, acceptance test of the system supply.
Righi has also supply and put into work the new Power Center and secondary distribution system of the plant.
Differently from the previous one which was disused, the new Power Center is complete with all the intelligent protection devices, capable of transmitting the energy values absorbed by the various sections of the system via the network, allowing the operator to optimize and better manage the consumption of the entire system by optimizing energy and economic savings.
The company has supply the software development for the management of the line 2 and the development of the graphic pages on the DCS for the complete control of the plant.
The revamping activities of the line 2 of the waste to energy plant, will allow an increase of the performance of the plant to 700 tons of waste disposal per day, as required from the customer.
